So sweet, today I connected to Red Hat’s VPN via Network Manager. Check it out.

After selecting the RHVPN item I got the normal little popup message from Red Hat, that I never read and always appears on VPN login.

Then everything thing worked, I was able to connect to mail and the internal IRC. One less command line app that I need!

The code is all in CVS right now, and should be coming out in a snapshot release very soon. David Z is working on a UI for creating VPN connections.
