Big Board is People

The photo stock on Big Board is really coming along. With no configuration from me it grabs the photo and video thumbnails from all the people I know through Mugshot and runs them as a small slideshow.

Animated GIF, watch the photos change!

Later we can work on adding information if a photo is new, people had commented on it, a slideout to see a larger version of the photo with description, and maybe a control to set a photo as your background.

  1. I was wondering if someone has run into a problem like this: I am trying to install Fed 6 on a machine where I had a dual boot with Windows and Fedora 2.4. My problem is that when I boot to make my machine install Fed 6 (from CD), the machine goes into my dual boot menu and ignores the installation CD. I checked the BIOS and the CD is before the hard drive in the sequence (actually this worked when I installed the 2.4 version). I also did the checksum when I generated the CDs and everythg seems to be OK.
I guess my question is: do I need to delete the partition where Linux 2.4 is before trying to install? is the dual boot stopping me from installing? this did not make sense to me but it is the only thing I can think of…

    thanks,

  2. @gerardo : deleting the older linux won’t change anything I think… If you’re sure the cd has been burned well, then I don’t see where the problem is… (there are TWO md5 sum : after downloading, and after burning)
Maybe ask on #fedora on irc.freenode.net
