This is human-readable - some humans know what POST data is, and just about any capable of using a webbrowser will know what “any action the form carried out (such as a search or online purchase) will be repeated” means.
This is not a security-sensitive dialog, so your post’s title is wrong.
What do you think the dialog should look like? The only problem I see is that it follows the stupid Windows convention of having worthless button names and having to write in the body text what they actually do.
Scott: Part of my post talks about how we can easily assume most people don’t know what POST data is. Sure it’s human readable by some, but so is German. I can’t read German and most human beings can’t, but we try to provide it for those who do and avoid it for those who don’t. This isn’t unreasonable logic.
And I’m not sure what a better dialog would look like, just like I said in my entry this is a tough dialog to fix because of how the technology works. I’m pointing out that it isn’t useful to most people and could really use someone looking into it.
